IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard)

IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard), is astandard that was created in 2006 by the UNIFE and with the cooperation of allmain industrials such as Alstom Transport, Bombardier Transportation, SiemensTransportation Systems and Ansaldobreda. It is a standard based on ISO 9001,integrating the specific demands required in the Railway Industry.

Audits were undertaken by BUREAU VERITAS in January andJuly 2008. The new processes that make up this standard enable us to serve ourcustomers better at the time of designing, reviewing contracts, industrialisingand controlling the Quality of our products.

CNRTaiyuan Railway Rolling Stock Co., Ltd ,obtained IRIS certificate, focusprimarily on three fields: maintenance of electric locomotives, manufacture andmaintenance of freight wagons, and manufacture of engineering vehicles. Thecompany has an annual shop maintenance capacity of 700 sets of electriclocomotives, involving various types of electric locomotives in the mainrailway. New vehicle products include the design and manufacture of gondolacars, ballast hopper cars, coal hopper cars, flat cars, tank trucks, automaticdumping cars etc., with an annual production capacity of 5,000 new vehicles, andan annual shop maintenance capacity of 5,000 vehicles. Engineering vehiclesmainly include catenary working vehicles, constant-tension cable unrollingvehicle, heavy rail cars, traction diesel locomotives for mining, tunneltractors, inspection vehicles, washing vehicles, railway crane trucks and otherrailway engineering maintenance products, with an annual production capacity of300 sets. In addition, the company also manufactures a variety of rail vehicleaccessories, castings (steel, iron, copper and aluminum), forgings, weldingparts, machining parts etc.

  We has gained IRIS and ISO9001 quality contral system certificate ,andwe are going  obtaining AAR and TSIcertification on the basis of specify products as carrier , besides,we will tryto obtain GOST ,etc , supplying the best guaranteed vehicles and wagons andrailway parts.
